The Javelin Orbiter series
internal dome systems feature high resolution low light
sensitive camera modules in high speed P/T/Z assemblies.
Low light sensitive down to 0.4
lux at frame integration and 1 lux normal video operation.
Continuous Auto Focus and Auto
Iris compensation with manual override and Backlight
Compensation are standard features.
18X Optical Zoom and 4X Digital
Zoom gives a total 72X zoom capability for recognition at
extreme long range. The lens pauses at the end of the optical
zoom range before entering digital zoom. Intelligent Zoom
automatically adjusts P/T/Z speed control.
The Orbiter Series domes are
compact and unobtrusive at 5" and are available in
attractive flush ceiling, wall, and two separate pendant mount
configurations.
Plug and Play design offers
easiest installation of domes in industry. All Orbiter domes are
fully assembled and require no site setup. Just plug it in and
turn it on.
Continuous rotation, High Speed
Pan, Tilt, and Zoom systems with 180° flip circuitry when using
MaxCom controllers.
All Orbiters have built in
intelligent receivers for up-the-coax or twisted pair operation.
Coax operation over 3000 feet is possible, with appropriate
cable.
Power isolation and data
communication OPTO isolation for trouble free installation and
operation.
Orbiter domes have Preset
Positioning, Alarm Activation, and associated Titles and Tours
capabilities when using MaxCom controllers.

Order Javelin Part Number: JD5SFCN. The JD5SFCN is shipped
complete with Dome and drop ceiling kit.
Plenum Ceiling
Configuration
Order Javelin part number: JD5SPLEN. The JD5SPLEN is shipped
with JD5S80 and Plenum backbox. Dome not included.
Plug & Play Pendant
Configuration
Order Javelin Part Numbers: JD5SN + JD5S80. This is an Orbiter
dome and a 3" surface ceiling mount. A JD5S300 or JD5S600
can be substituted for 12" or 24" mounting extensions.
Retro-Fit Pendant
Configuration
Order Javelin Part Numbers: JD5SN + JD5SNPT. The JD5SNPT is a
1.5" NPT threaded adapter for use in applications where
1.5" NPT mounts are specified or exist.
