Arbor Place Mall Gets Cameras

Arbor Place is the newest mall in the Atlanta area, one of the largest. All Secure installed state of the art camera system at the mall. The system allows security to view all areas including parking lots, walkways, escalators, elevators, and courtyards. Security staff says they love the system because it allows them to see it all. 

The system consists of thirty-two color cameras. Twelve cameras outside to watch the parking lots. Twenty inside to watch common areas. These are not your average cameras. They cover a lot more area because the guard in security office, can rotate the camera a full 360 degrees also up and down ( considered pan and tilt ). Also they zoom in.

The latest in technology was used on this project. Ultra Dome Camera ( operator can pan/tilt & zoom ). Camera console in security office has a 12" monitor for each camera if they see something interesting they can call picture to a 20" monitor then control movements of camera. Fiber-Optic Cable was used to improve the quality & resolution of picture.
