HYPERSCAN^® LONG DISTANCE CCTV SYSTEM
TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER

HyperScan^® offers you affordable long-distance surveillance and control. With the click of a mouse, HyperScan connects you to remote sites from across the world, or around the corner, all by using standard PSTN or high speed ISDN phone lines, cellular carriers, wireless (radio frequency), or even satellite data channels. See and record high-resolution picture updates from remote branches. Integrate remote multiplexers and matrix switchers for maximum long-distance control. Optional modules provide video and alarm input expansion, remote relay control, camera dome control and pan/tilt driver control.

System Flexibility
Hyperscan system components come in many configurations to meet your unique needs. Transmitters are available in black-and-white or color, with or without a modem. Hyperscan turnkey color receivers are PC-based for maximum convenience, or as software only for users with existing PC platforms. Single channel receivers connect to one transmitter, while four channel receivers increase capacity to four transmitters. Optional system modules provide video and alarm input expansion, remote relay control, camera dome control and pan/tilt/zoom driver control.

Multiple Communication Media Compatibility
Hyperscan links you to remote facilities by transmitting/receiving over PSTN or ISDN phone lines, cellular carriers, wireless, or even satellite data channels. Phone line transmission is ideal when coaxial cable can't go the distance. Communication via cellular carriers permits applications where transmitting and/or receiving locations need to be mobile or are not connected by phone lines. Wireless solves your problems when transmission is blocked by physical or other boundaries. Communication via satellite data channels allows lower cost point-to-point security around the globe.

Multiple Surveillance Sites
One Hyperscan receiver can simultaneously display pictures from up to four geographically separate transmitters. Users can have any number of transmitters in the field for user call-in or auto-alarm monitoring.

Fast Picture Update Speeds
Up to 15 screen updates per second over ISDN. Provides more documentation at higher resolution than other systems.

Pixel Perfect Digital Recording to Hard Disk
Digital recording for detailed documentation and superior event analysis. Record all, selected, or alarm pictures only. Quickly and easily access documentation by transmitter, camera, time and date, or alarm event. Records approximately 40 MB per hour (single link) while viewing high motion activity. Eliminates costly VCRs and space consuming VCR tape management.

Powerful and Flexible Display Options
512 x 440 pixels full screen. 16,000,000 colors or 64 shades of gray. Display in full screen, sequential camera/transmitter switch, PIP, 2 x 2, 3 x 3 or 4 x 4 picture formats.

Pre-Alarm Images for Event Verification
Transmitters automatically call receiver upon alarm. Transmitter then sends alarm event, plus video from just before the alarm was triggered. Use to verify cause of alarm and to reduce false alarms.
