The camera shall be a solid state black and white video camera. The pick-up device shall be a 1/3" interline transfer charge coupled device (CCD) with equal to or greater than 250,000 picture elements. Video output shall be provided through a BNC-type connector. Composite video output shall be 1.0V p-p with 75 Ohm impedance and shall be EIA RS-170 standard black & white video signal format. The camera shall accept CS-type lenses and be capable of supporting auto-iris type lenses (video-type & DC type). Back-focus adjustment shall be provided via a back-focus which will not require tools for adjustment. A Phillip-type set srew will lock the back-focus ring in place after adjustment.

The camera shall have an internal isolation transformer.

The dimensions of the camera shall be 2.46"(W) X 1.97"(H) X 4.45"(D). Camera mounting shall be performed via a 1/4" X 20 threaded hole in the camera casing. The camera shall be capable of being mounted either from the top or bottom. Camera weight shall not exceed 21.2oz. Ambient operating temperature shall +14 degrees to +122 degrees Fahrenheit. Ambient operating humidity shall be 30% to 90%.

Camera resolution shall be a minimum of 400 TV lines horizontal and 350 TV lines vertical. Synchronization shall be achieved via line-lock 24 volts AC 60Hz. There shall be provisions for vertical phase adjustment. Signal-to-noise ratio shall be 50dB. AGC shall be automatic and provide a minimum 18dB gain. The sensitivity of the camera shall render a minimum subject illumination of 0.032 Lux (F1.2). The camera shall have auto electronic shutter capable of 1/100,000 second. The camera shall also have provision for 4-zone user programmable back light compensation. The camera shall have provision to boost dynamic range by approx. 30%, selectable by user.
